My aim.

To provide personal Physics tuition, at your home, at a time convenient to you, anywhere in Northumberland. I am happy to travel to Amble, Alnwick, Ashington, Bedlington, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Blyth, Corbridge, Cramlington, Haltwhistle, Haydon Bridge, Hexham, Kielder, Morpeth, Ponteland, Prudhoe, Rothbury and Warkworth, to name just a few.

Who I am.

I am a Physics teacher with 27 years of teaching GCSE and A level Physics (AQA examination board).

At A level I have taught the Engineering, Astrophysics and Turning points options many times and I have also facilitated the Medical and electronics options.

What you get

Face-to-Face individualised teaching at your home. Whilst going over examinable content I will also provide help with strategies to become a more resilient learner.

One session lasts 1 hour (there is no additional cost if I run over time). It should be assumed that for each session there will be between 1/2 -1 hr of independent work set. Tasks will include answering questions set by me, including multiple choice, calculations, short and long structured questions. This work will be marked and feedback given.

Price

The standard price for a 1hr session, which includes fuel costs, travelling time and photocopying is £50.

However, given that you are currently accessing this webpage you will realise that whilst I am an outstanding physics teacher I am a terrible web page designer, and therefore I am currently offering my services at £40 per session.
